Biography::

Андрей Мунтян - российский художник. Родился в Москве. Окончил Московский полиграфический институт. Является членом Московского Союза художников, Творческого Союза художников и Черногорского Союза художников, Академик.

Его генеалогическое дерево частью своих ветвей по отцовской линии уходит в румыно-молдавские виноградники, расположенные в холмистой Мунтении. Другая часть генеалогических ветвей художника разделилась на старинный княжеский род Шаблыкиных и купеческо-буржуазный - Зиминых. По архивным документам князья Шаблыкины стали постоянно проживать в Москве с 1524 г.

Род Зиминых представляет интерес как клан купцов-меценатов, господствовавших наравне с Морозовыми, Мамонтовыми, Рябушинскими в промышленной России.

С самого рождения перед глазами художника на стенах висели старые фламандцы, а антикварная мебель красного дерева украшала быт. Блестяще образованная бабушка учила считывать тонкие метафизические вибрации событий и вещей. Постепенно стало выкристаллизовываться аморфное, дотоле неосознанное, тело Гармонии. У будущего мастера сложился сугубо индивидуальный вкус к определенной эпохе, литературе и музыке. Соединенные Судьбой, эти 3 вектора привели к четвертому - живописи. Баловень Судьбы даже не догадывался, как трудно художнику вычленить то единственное, в чем он преуспеет и воздаст хвалу Богу. Но это не сложно тому, кто рожден под знаком Овна и огненного Быка. Судьбе также было угодно дать яркую подсказку будущему художнику о его творческом предназначении. К концу XV в. в Италии работал такой знаменитый мастер ренессансной живописи как Андреа Мантенья. Если сопоставить это имя с именем Андрея Мунтяна, то наглядно видна их яркая идентичность. По сопоставлению таких интересных фактов можно говорить о том, что жизнь дает нам подсказки о наших целевых программах, нашем предназначении и наших предыдущих реинкарнациях.

До 1986 г. Андрей Мунтян работал в области плаката и промышленной рекламы. Однако, начиная с 1986 г., стал заниматься только живописью и графикой. За годы своей творческой деятельности провел более 50 персональных выставок в России, Италии, Франции, США, Австрии, Германии, Испании, Японии, Португалии, Эстонии, Латвии и Черногории.

В живописи приоритетами художника являются философско-религиозная тематика и иконопись. Но, выезжая на природу, он с большой охотой и любовью пишет ее в технике а ля прима. Скрупулезность подхода к живописным работам проявляется и в его графике. Тушью и пером он передает не только характеры отдельных людей, но и создает вымышленные пейзажные пространства.
С 2005 г. А. Мунтян постоянно проживает в г. Будва, Черногория. Пишет картины под музыку периода Барокко – Баха, Генделя, Перголези, Моцарта, Зеленки, а свободное время проводит на теннисном корте или в путешествиях.

Биография::

Andrey Mountian is a Russian painter. He was born in Moscow, Russia, and graduated from the Moscow Graphic Printing Institute. Mr. Mountian is a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, the Creative Union of Artists, the Union of Artists of Montenegro, and the Academy of Sciences.

Some of the father's side branches of his family tree go to the Romanian-Moldovan vineyards located at hilly Muntenia (Wallachia). Another part of the artist’s genealogical branches divided into an ancient princely family of the Shablykins and a merchant-bourgeois one of the Zimins. According to the archive documents, the Shablykins princes began to permanently reside in Moscow since 1524. The Zimins is of interest as a clan of merchants and art patrons along with the Morozovs, the Mamontovs, and the Ryabushinskys in the industrial Russia.

Since birth, the artist could see the old Flemish’s works hanging on the walls, and use antique mahogany furniture in his everyday life. His well-educated grandmother was teaching him how to read subtle metaphysical vibrations of events and things. The amorphous hitherto unperceived body of the Harmony gradually became crystallized. The prospective master formed a very individual taste for a particular era, literature and music. Fused by the Fate, these three vectors became the source of the fourth one - the painting. A child of fortune, he did not have even a slight idea on how hard it is for an artist to distinguish what he would be successful and grateful to the God with. But it is not difficult for those who were born under the sign of Aries and Fire Ox. The Fate also sent a bright massage on his creative destiny to the prospective artist. At the end of the XV century, such well-known master of the Renaissance painting as Andrea Mantegna worked in Italy. If we compare this name with the name of Andrei Mountian, we can clearly see their amazing identity. By comparing these interesting facts, we can conclude that the life gives us clues on our special-purpose programs, our destination and previous incarnations.

So, Mr. Mountian started his career as a painter creating posters for the printing and publishing industry. However, since 1986, he has been doing painting and graphic arts only. During his artistic career, Mr. Mountian arranged more than 50 personal exhibitions in Russia, Italy, France, USA, Austria, Germany, Spain, Japan, Portugal, Estonia, Latvia and Montenegro.

In painting, the artist's priorities are philosophical and religious themes and iconography. But, going to the open country, he paints nature in the alla prima technique very willingly and lovingly. A scrupulous approach to painting can be also found in his graphic works. With a pen and ink, he conveys not only the characters of individuals, but also creates fictional landscape spaces.

Since 2005, Mr. Mountian resides in Montenegro (town of Budva). He spends his spare time playing tennis or travelling, and paints his pictures to the music of the Baroque period – Bach, Gendel, Pergolesi, Mozart, and Zelenk.
